Have you noticed how more and more sites are providing 'contact us' methods with forms built in to pages rather than a 'click here' link which opens email software on your computer? Four main reasons for this;

Website friendly; the visitor doesn't get distracted from your site.
User friendly; without forms, the visitor may have to go to Hotmail etc to mail you.
Receiver friendly; you get to ask for any necessary details in the form.
Anti-spam; Junk mail generators A.K.A. 'spambots' can't abuse the abuse the form mail method if set up correctly.

In-Site Search Engine

Web surfers are getting more and more impatient at browsing, so an increasingly necessary function within informational and commercial sites is the internal search engine.

Working the same way as Google and Yahoo etc, but dedicated to your pages, complete with spelling suggestions, recommended links, synonyms*, wild-cards**, and even pictures at the results, this allows your visitors to find what they came to your site for at the type of a word and click of a button. * Search synonyms (associated words) work like a thesaurus, are optional and custom set. This lets you decide e.g. whether you want to associate a search for "Windows" with extra results; 'Double Glazing' or 'Microsoft'.

** Wild Cards allow you to place a star mid-word if you don't know the letter it is spelt with, the search engine fills it in for you.
